The Technical Department is the core R&D institute of TENGLONG. It is set with multiple functional sections respectively relating to information management, product design, process development, tool design, and sample trial fabrication. It owns a technical team featured in rich experience, high-efficient innovation, and vitality, among which, senior technical personnel directly engaging in R&D reaches over 100.

Based on multiple years’ investment and technology accumulation, we have mastered a batch of industrial leading core process technologies, and become capable for supporting multiple clients and projects at the same time. Both the project development speed and quality rank top positions in the industry. We are not only capable for develop products according to the sample and drawing sent by the customer, but also capable for perform synchronous design and R&D with auto air-conditioning system factories and automobile manufacturers.

Development and Cooperation

While engaging in independent product R&D, we also positively seek for close cooperation with universities and other scientific research institutes in technical research and application aspects, thus to be conducted to settle practical problems encountered in R&D process, and meanwhile transform the research results of the universities into production.

We have cooperated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Hefei University of Technology to co-construct innovation carrier with advanced scientific research capacity, and perform prospective study and industrialization application study targeting for energy conservative, energy consumption reducing, and high efficient auto air-conditioning pipe products. We have obtained achievements in R&D and manufacture technology of re-generator air-conditioning pipe, and air-conditioning pipe noise transmission control, and have applied the achievement in practical manufacture. In the future, we shall further take advantages of the universities and scientific research institute in talent team, fundamental study, and test equipment to continuously improve the technology R&D level and innovation capacity.

Core Process Technology

Process technology is the core competitiveness of an enterprise. TENGLONG pays great attention on the R&D of new product, new process, and new technology. We have accumulated much experience and reserved lots of industrial leading know-how during the R&D, design, and manufacture process when we engages in auto heat exchange system pipes, EGR parts, and auto new materials. Especially, we’ve done done lots of studies and obtained a series of industrial leading core process technologies in aspects of IHX pipes, thin wall thickness aluminum pipe processing, pipe with extreme small bend radius, pipe with special-shape end, pipe with connect joints/flange mechanical locked, air-conditioning pipe noise transmission control, and pipe end successive forming. The application of these experience and technologies makes the company capable for performing synchronous new auto model design and development with clients.

Up to now, TENGLONG owns nearly a hundred items of process technologies relating to auto air-conditioning pipes, EGR products, and new material, including over 50 items with patent certificates.

Since the moment we entered into auto parts industry, we have been engaging in independent development of mold and inspection tools. We established special mold development department and equipped with high level development personnel team and high precision processing center, as well as other key processing equipment. Based on multiple years’ accumulation and study, we have mastered the whole set of auto air-conditioning pipe mold and inspection tools design and manufacture technology, which can not only provide powerful support to new project development of the company, accelerate the product development, but also provide power guarantee to high efficient product manufacture and quality level.
